A prominent Ambulatory Surgery Center is looking for a top-notch Director of Nursing (DON) to join their expanding team in the Hollywood, Florida area.

The DON will join an established multi-specialty outpatient surgical team, and be responsible for all aspects of nursing care delivery in the facility. They will assume responsibility as department lead of the OR, Preop and PACU as well as for overseeing the facilities quality improvement program, risk management, infection control and staff education. The successful candidate will:

  • Provide leadership oversight to ensure patient needs are met in accordance with instructions of physician and facility policies & procedures.
  • Demonstrate respect for co-workers and leadership and develop positive working relationships within departments.
  • Provide direction to others that is clear, concise and promotes efficiency throughout the clinical areas of the facility.
  • Recognize legal policy limits and individual practice.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of working experience in an outpatient surgical facility and be knowledgeable in all aspects of surgical nursing (Pre-Op/PACU/Circulation).
  • Experience as an OR Manager/Supervisor is required.
  • Certificate and/or Advanced Technical Training in OR preferred.
  • Must have previous experience with Orthopedic and Spine surgeries.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to identify problems and resolve issues using a systems approach.
  • Skills in customer service, computer literate, clinical familiarity with Operating Room, Endoscopy, Recovery/PACU, Preoperative/Stage II Recovery and Central Processing.
  • Infection Prevention experience.
  • Must have demonstrated administrative ability in surgical nursing situations and be skilled in dealing with routine as well as emergency procedures.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelors degree in nursing required.
  • Current RN Licensure in the State of Florida.
  • At least one (1) year of administrative and supervisory experience required.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) highly preferred.
  • Must be a mature, well-adjusted person who gets along with others and is able to work with teammates to accomplish common goals.

  • We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician with at least one-year experience with C-ARM imaging and OR experience to join our team.
  • Properly utilizes C-arm and other x-ray equipment
    – Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
    – Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety
    – Review and evaluate images for quality and clarity
    – Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques
    – Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
    – Follow safety protocols and adhere to radiation protection guidelines
    – Provide compassionate care to patients during procedures
  • To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
    – Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
    – Proficiency in medical terminology
    – Experience in various medical imaging techniques
    – Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting X-ray equipment and MRI equipement
    – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings
  • -Experience with Ortho and Spine imaging
    – Valid certification as an X-ray Technician
    – Holds an active X-Ray license in the state of Florida

  • Busy Ambulatory Surgery Center is looking for a Operating Room Registered Nurse. 
  • Collaborate with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians, to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Monitor patients during surgery, assessing their condition, vital signs, and anesthesia effectiveness.
  • Administer medications and interventions as directed by the surgical team.
  • Assemble and prepare the necessary instruments, supplies and equipment for the surgical procedure according to the surgeon’s preference card.
  • Open sterile supplies with the scrub tech/nurse.
  • Check the working order of the room equipment.
  • Assesses physiological and psychosocial health status of patient.
  • Document all patient information accurately and maintain thorough records.
